Creating a Unique Image

Any image is simply light and colour. An artist does not leave to chance what the light and colour will produce. The artist creates an image by plan, the composition and light direction, the pose and the expression. Even on location at an event the photographer is aware of available light and colour of the background. In addition, there is the moment of the “click”, the actual point of image capture. The click, is when the artist notices an expression or action that is telling the story.

My Style

My style is to use vivid colour and contrast of light and dark. I am highly capable at producing location lifestyle portraits. On location I use portable lighting to bring out rich colour and fine detail.  Event photography is where I have fun, especially sports where the action is dynamic and fast, where each image is totally unique.

Wedding Photography

I am easy going, approachable and enjoy a challenge. Furthermore, the camera skills I have developed and the creativity I was born with gives me confidence. Confidence to approach any photographic work with one eye on the task and the other ever watchful for that special capture.
